How to Quit Smoking by Oil Pulling
You can quit smoking easily, as long as you understand smoking is bad for you. What you need is a therapy called oil pulling. Oil pulling is powerful therapy for pulling toxins out of the body. Unlike drugs, it does not has many side effects. The mertis of this therapy has not been fully investigated by clinical trials.
Oil pulling simply means rinsing the mouth with sesame or sunflower oil for 15 to 20 minutes.
During the process of oil pulling, you need to swish, suck, chomp and pull the oil through the teeth. The oil must not be swallowed.
To avoid acid reflux, which could potentially cause accidental swallowing of the oil, you should practise oil pulling on empty stomach. The best time to practise this therapy is 4 hours after meal.
After the 15-20 minute process of swishing oil, the mouth will be filled with milky white and thin foam. All the oil and saliva which remain in the mouth should be spit out immediately. According to the Dr Karach, who introduced this therapy to the western world, the milky white foam contains a lot of bacteria and toxins.
Finally, the tooth should be brushed, preferably with baking soda, and the mouth should be rinsed with clean water.
