How to enjoy solar cooking --- Cooking chestnuts
This entry is about cooking chestnuts with a panel solar cooker. Panel solar cooker is not an efficient cooker. But it doesn't cost a fortune either. This example does illustrate the point that we can survive without the supplier of electrcity:
Step 1. Get hold of the required materials. All you need are:
A steamer
A high temperature plastic bag
A black pot
half pounds of chestnuts

Step 2. Put 300 cc water into the food pot. Add 1/2 lb raw chestnut. Start solar cooking around 11:30 on a sunny day:

Step 3. Wait until afternoon and enjoy your meal.
